draw up

1) составлять (документ) The general has drawn up a plan to defeat the enemy. ≈ Генерал составил план победы над врагом. Has your lawyer drawn up the contract yet? ≈ Твой адвокат написал уже текст контракта или нет?
2) останавливаться the carriage drew up before the door ≈ экипаж остановился у подъезда
3) возвр. подтянуться;
выпрямиться He drew himself up to his full height. ≈ Он выпрямился во весь рост.
